With its
behind-the-scenes studio tour and movie-themed rides,
Universal Studios Florida is a "must-see" attraction for
families visiting Orlando and staying at our
property.
The park
opened in 1990, and was re-vamped during 2000/2001 as Islands
of Adventure was completed and opened. It's now taken its
rightful place as one of the top3 attractions in the area -
and should stay that way!

The Studios are not just a theme park.
They are real, working studios, producing commercials,
television shows and movies, as well as doing pre and
post-production work on other shows.
Make sure
you take the time out of your day to see some of the word by
visiting the Production Central area of Universal
Studios.
To take a tour and find out more about
each of the attractions, shows and rides at Universal Studios,
simply click on the menu on the left. It's broken down into
the 6 main areas of the Studios, and you can click on any of
the features listed in the sub-menus to see more details.

OpeningTimes Universal Studios -
Ride the Movies is open 365 days of the year, typically from
9:00am. Closing times vary depending on the season - but are
typically from 6:00pm. Of course, Universal CityWalk stays
open till late - so you can always stay after the day at the
park and enjoy a meal, a movie, some live music or a drink.

Tips for
Guests
Whatever else you do - make sure that you get a Universal
Express Pass when you come to either of the Universal
Parks.
We suggest that you arrive as early as
possible, use the valet parking, rush to the gate, and then
run around (anti-clockwise) to Back to the Future first! That
way, you'll beat all the waiting in line at this fabulous
ride, and you can spend the rest of the day exploring (it
worked for us). Other favorites are the Men in Black ride and
Terminator 2 3D - who are we kidding - ALL the rides here are
stupendous!
Universal Studios is well laid out as far
as access goes, especially for those guests that need to use
Wheelchairs. Generally the aisles and pathways are plenty wide
enough to accommodate any of the electric mobility vehicles
that can be rented within the park.
One final tip...we
recommend that you take the extra expense for the valet
parking. It's a lot closer to the entrance, and will save your
(doubtless!) aching feet at the end of the day!
Directions
Guests should take Hwy 192 to the I-4 interchange and
take the I-4 Eastbound toward Orlando. Exit at junction 30A
(Universal Blvd) and take a left and follow signs to
Universal.
Parking
Ample parking is available for all vehicles. Parking is
chargeable at $7.00 per car. If you want to avoid the walk
(long) from the car-parks, we recommend that you use the valet
parking facility at $14.00 per vehicle.
